This weekend Columbia has multiple athletes looking to advance further in the postseason.
Emily Gambler will compete in the District 3 swim meet Saturday at Central York in the 50 free and 100 fly. Good luck Emily!

Columbia’s 2020-21 varsity wrestling team was short on numbers, but long on determination. The season started slowly as several matches were postponed due to COVID concerns at opposing schools. The other varsity winter teams had multiple games in before the wrestling team had its first match. Even though only three wrestlers finished the season, they were able to set a good foundation for the future. Two of those wrestlers are sophomores and one is a freshman.
James Brady’s record was 10-9. He placed 10th in the L-L League Tournament and 6th in the Sectional Tournament.
Stoudamire Campbell’s record was 19-8. He placed in the top 6 in his weight class in the Lancaster-Lebanon League Tournament, placed 3rd in the Sectional Tournament, and 5th at the District III Tournament. He is an alternate at his weight class for the Regional Tournament. He would have been a Regional qualifier except for limits due to the pandemic.
Chris Sabino’s record was 4-12.

If you are an A day student please come to the main office and check in on your way to your physical. We will let your teachers know that you will be back at home shortly.
Attention 11th grade students and families:
It is a requirement in the state of Pennsylvania that all 11th grade students receive a medical physical exam. If your student has had a physical exam completed between 6/5/2020 and today, please send a copy to the school nurse. Sports physicals are acceptable and have already been documented for this year.
If you would like your student to have a physical exam completed during the school day, please contact the school nurse: lpavelko@columbiabsd.org

A Snow Emergency will be in effect in the Borough of Columbia beginning at 1:00 A.M., Thursday, February 18, 2021. The Snow Emergency will remain in effect until further notice. The Snow Emergency will be to facilitate clean-up efforts in the Borough. Please see attached letter for details.

1. Class of 2023--Andy’s Sub Card Fundraiser is underway. Orders can be picked up tomorrow 2/12 in the lobby after school. The sale will be open an additional week. All future orders will be filled individually as they come in. If you have any questions or concerns, please email or call Mrs. Garrett or Mrs. Ohrel.
2. Class of 2021--Everyone in the class who did not order a cap and gown should have received a call from Mrs. Garrett last week. If you need additional help, please call her at 717-693-7966. All cap and gown orders must be placed by the end of February. There will be NO exceptions!
