Did you know? 🎉 Columbia Hill Campus uses the PBIS system? This is a schoolwide management system that helps us reinforce positive behavior! PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is a framework that promotes a positive school culture by setting clear expectations, recognizing and acknowledging expected behavior, and providing support when needed. Through PBIS, we celebrate students who demonstrate behaviors that are: ✅ Respectful ✅ Responsible ✅ Safe Today, we celebrated our amazing students with a PBIS Carnival —featuring games, face painting, and even a dunk tank! 🌟 Thank you to our many students who continue to make positive choices every day, making our school a great place to be!

More recently, they participated in College Exploration field trips. At Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, students attended a college fair featuring representatives from over 100 institutions. The following day, a group of students explored healthcare majors at Saint Joseph’s University Lancaster campus, where they enjoyed a campus tour and an informative session with a university representative.✈️ 🎓🏫

A group of high school students is seated at a table in a large conference room, smiling at the camera. The students wear name tags and represent different schools, as seen from their sweatshirts and labels on the table. One student in the foreground, wearing a Texas A&M College of Engineering shirt, gives a thumbs-up. The table has pens, notebooks, a calculator, and drinks. Other groups of students and adults are in the background, engaged in discussion.
Four high school students stand next to a statue of a historical figure on a college campus. They are dressed in casual clothing, with one wearing a Berkeley sweatshirt. Behind them is a building labeled "Gallaher Dining Hall," with large windows and a brick facade. The sky is partly cloudy, and the setting includes trees and benches.
Yesterday, Columbia students were able to take a trip to the Lancaster Airport thanks to Flight Path. Students learned about some of the many possible careers that are obtainable in the world of aviation. Students were able to sit in a plane, practice flight simulations, interact with current and retired professionals, speak to post secondary recruiters, and of course, fly paper airplanes! On top of all of this, they took a trip of the airport on the runways and saw planes taking off and landing!

Two young women stand inside an aircraft hangar in front of a small white airplane. One is wearing a black puffer jacket and khaki pants, while the other is dressed in a white crop top and camouflage pants. The airplane behind them has an open hatch, and various maintenance equipment is visible in the background.
The same two young women are seated inside the cockpit of a small aircraft. They are smiling while sitting side by side, with the clear canopy of the plane closed over them. The aircraft appears to be an older model, with a worn exterior.
The two young women sit inside a white airport ground vehicle. The woman in the black puffer jacket is in the driver's seat, smiling as she holds the steering wheel, while the other woman, seated in the passenger seat, raises one finger in the air. The vehicle has a "NYC" sticker on the windshield and is parked inside the hangar.
