During March 23rd-25th, the Columbia Borough School District Theatre Program will blast into the nuclear past with their atomic production of “Zombie Prom”! This girl-loves-ghoul rock 'n' roll Off Broadway musical is set in the 1950s at Enrico Fermi High, where the law is laid down by a zany, tyrannical principal. Pretty senior Toffee has fallen for the class bad boy, Jonny (without the H) Warner. Family pressure forces her to end the romance, and he charges off on his motorcycle to the nuclear waste dump. He returns glowing and determined to reclaim Toffee's heart. He still wants to graduate, but most of all he wants to take Toffee to the prom. The principal orders him to drop dead while a scandal reporter seizes on marketing him as the freak du jour. History comes to his rescue while a tuneful selection of original songs in the style of 50s hits keeps the action rocking across the stage. Sweet and funny, this musical send-up of 1950s teen romance films is fun for all ages All performances will take place in the CHS auditorium. Performance times are as follows: Thursday, March 23rd at 7:00 PM. Friday, March 24th at 7:00 PM Saturday, March 25th at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Tickets are $8.00 for Adults; $4.00 for senior citizens and students. Children under 5 are free. ZOMBIE PROM Music by Dana P.
