Fourth graders in Mrs. Herrschaft's class making compli-mats. We learned about how to give compliments and filled out compliment hearts to help others in our class fill up their complimats.
The Second Grade at Park Elementary made their goal! Their goal was to collect 100 pet items to donate to Humane Pennsylvania by the 100th day of school. This organizations helps find new homes and cares for homeless animals in Lancaster County. The Second Graders have been collecting items since the beginning of January. These students have made a big impact on our community with their kindness! Congratulations Second Graders!

Hello Park Families, this month we are working on kindness in our building. Our 3rd graders are especially hoping that the community would participate in sending valentines and/or postcards for them to our school.
100TH day of school PT2
Today we celebrated the 100TH DAY OF SCHOOL!! We had lots of little elderly men and women running around! PT 1
Friends in Mrs. Kauffman's class using STEM to build a Lego bridge with their student teacher. They used the story The Billy Goats Gruff.
Students in Mrs. Haldeman's 3rd grade class who completed an iReady lesson with a 100% could color in a bubble. After the bubbles were all colored in we had a bubble gum party during Math.
Mrs. Canaan's 4th grade class were having a science investigation to explore how energy is transferred. They used circuit boards to assemble closed circuits. They were able to discover which materials are conductors and which materials are conductors using the energy from a d-cell battery.
Mrs. Shirk’s reading club is small but mighty! They enjoyed reading The Wild Robot Protects.

Taylor's Kindness Club visited Mrs. Shirk's class on Thursday and facilitated an activity celebrating our uniqueness!! Just like snow flakes we are all unique and special!!
